BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley continues his weekly Tuesday press conferences on Sept. 29, airing live on ESPN+ at 12 p.m.
The second-year head coach is joined weekly by two players, this time by sophomore RB Ethan Ervin and senior EDGE Jonathan Bax.
On their longest win streak since 2020, the trio will preview the Owls' (3-1) Saturday night matchup on Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union Stadium against Texas Southern. The non-conference finale kicks off at 6 p.m. on ESPN+ and will be Owl Family Weekend and Health Care Appreciation night, sponsored by Baptist Health.
Ervin is fresh off a breakout performance in the 45-17 road victory at ULM. His 139 yards on the ground are the most among any running back under Kittley. Through four games, Ervin has totaled 292 yards on an average of 4.4 per carry.
Bax and the defensive line recorded a season-high six tackles for a loss against the Warhawks. He has logged eight total stops on the year and notably hauled in an interception in the 16-10 Shula Bowl XXIV victory over FIU.
