BOCA RATON, Fla. – Inside the Owls' Burrow, the official weekly television show for Florida Atlantic Athletics, has returned for its 11th season. Episode 3 and every 30-minute show this season will air on The Spot stations in the South Florida market.
The Spot, South Florida 39 (WSFL-TV), will air the show weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA with replays running to be determined. The Spot, South Florida 9 (WHDT-TV), will air the show on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET in the West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce DMA with replays to be determined.
Inside the Owls' Burrow is hosted and produced by Frank Forte and covers FAU sports, featuring player profiles, coach interviews and behind-the-scenes access to all varsity teams. Inside the Owls' Burrow is produced in collaboration with Florida Atlantic Sports Properties (Playfly Sports).
With the Owls closing in on the football season opener at Florida on Saturday, Sept. 5, Inside the Owls' Burrow goes 1-on-1 with Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley to preview this week's contest. Episode 3 also features a "Wired for Sound" segment with senior WR Kelby Valsin. Forte will go one-on-one with graduate QB Caden Veltkamp, with the duo discussing his return after injury and the offensive side of the ball. Defensive coordinator Brett Dewhurst will preview the defensive side of the ball, and finally a behind the scenes view of the Summer EA Sports College Football edition will feature players taking on fellow students.
