BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic women's track & field's
Teegan Anderson was named the American Conference Track Athlete of the Week to close out the regular season announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Anderson, a junior from Plymouth, Minnesota, is the first Owl to be named as the American Track Athlete of the Week after her performance on Friday evening at the East Coast Relays hosted by UNF. She finished within the top-5 in the 1500-meter, setting a new school record with a time of 4:23.61. She etched her name in the record book once again, now sitting at No. 1 and now is tied for fastest 1500-meter time in the conference.Â
