JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team conclude day one of the East Coast Relays hosted by North Florida.
The Owls competed in a total of four events (1500-meter, 5000-meter, 400-meter hurdles, and 200-meter) to kick off the last meet of the regular season, highlighted by a new program record by Teegan Anderson in the 1500-meter.
QUICK HITS
- Florida Atlantic started the meet with Joelle White representing the Owls in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Four Owls (Adriana Lopez, Jada Bolhuis, Leanna Lynch, and Kiylah Williams) ran in the 200-meter dash.
- Anderson finished within the top 5 of the 1500-meter to set the new school record with a time of 4:23.61. She etched her name in the record book once again, this time No. 1 and is now tied for fastest time in the American.
- The Owls closed out the night with the 5000-meter, where Madison Brown placed No. 10 overall with a 17:57.23.
- Freshman Morgan Pennington made her collegiate debut in the 5000-meter.

The Owls conclude the 2026 regular season on Saturday, May 2 in day two of the East Coast Relays.
