BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic beach volleyball freshman
Ava Koehl was named a 2025-26 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American.
The recognition is the program's first with the NSCA and the first career honor for Koehl.
Koehl has had a standout freshman campaign with the Owls. She is tied for third-best on the team with a 17-14 record this season, including a season-best 13-11 mark on court two, playing alongside teammate
Olivia Strandberg. Koehl was recognized with CUSA Pair of the Week honors on March 17 and has earned ranked victories against No. 6 TCU, No. 7 Florida State, and twice against North Florida, ranked as No. 16 and No. 17. Academically, the freshman was named to the 2025-26 CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
