A LOOK AT THE OWLS
- Florida Atlantic enters Saturday's contest at 9-12 overall and 3-6 in American play and is just coming off a tough battle against Tulsa, 77-58.
- As a team, the Owls rank in the top-5 in the league in a few categories, including leading the American in bench points per game (24.4), in addition to ranking third in 3-point attempts per game (22.0), 3-pointers made per game (7.0), and fewest fouls per game (17.5), and fourth in steals per game (9.1).
- The Owls are led offensively by Vivian Onugha, who boasts a team-leading 9.4 points per game, and Grace Carstensen, Destyne Jackson, and Jess Moors rank second through fourth offensively for Florida Atlantic, tallying 8.7, 8.5, and 8.1 points per game, respectively.
- On the glass, the Owls are led by Haley Walker and Onugha. Walker has tallied a team-leading 6.6 rebounds per game, while Onugha ranks second on the team, collecting 6.1 boards per contest this season.

BRITTANY BOWE IS OLYMPICS BOUND
- Former Owl, Brittany Bowe (2006-10), punched her ticket to her fourth Winter Olympic Games in January.
- Bowe will compete in the 1,000m, 1,500m, and Women's Team Pursuit speed skating events.
- She is the only former athlete from an American Conference school competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics, and one of just three non-Ice Hockey players making their fourth or more Olympic Games appearance.
SCOUTING NORTH TEXAS
- North Texas enters Saturday's matchup at 11-10 overall and 5-4 in conference play. The Mean Green are on a two-game skid after dropping contests against Tulsa, 57-53, and UTSA, 66-64.
- The Mean Green are paced offensively by Aysia Proctor and Megan Nestor, averaging 13.1 and 12.8 points per game, respectively.
- Nestor is also North Texas' rebounding and steals leader, collecting a team-best 13.3 rebounds per game and a team-high 30 steals, averaging 1.4 steals per game.
- Nestor and Tionna Lidge tie for the team lead in blocks, recording 0.7 blocks per game.
- North Texas' assists leader is Andi Schissler, who has dished out 2.1 assists per game this season.

- North Texas leads the series between the Owls and the Mean Green, 13-11, including a 7-4 record when playing in Denton, Texas. The Owls will look to snap a five-game skid against the Mean Green.
