BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, presented by Duffy's Sports Grill, returns Thursday, Jan. 22, at Duffy's Sports Grill of Boca Raton, located at 21212 St. Andrews Boulevard in Boca Raton. The show will air from 6-7 p.m. on Fox Sports 640 South Florida.
The show is hosted by the voice of the Owls, Ken LaVicka. Head women's basketball coach LeAnn Freeland, along with the Owls' No. 2 Grace Carstensen, and head beach volleyball coach, Steve Grotowski, will join LaVicka this week.
The Owls are coming off a one-game road trip in Charlotte, as they prepare to host the South Florida Bulls on Saturday, Jan. 24, for their annual Alumni Game. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena, on ESPN+. Coach Grotowski enters his fourth season as the leader of the Sandy Owls, who are looking to build off one of their winningest seasons in program history, capturing the 2025 CUSA Championship and earning the program's third NCAA Championship appearance, tying for the second-most single-season wins in program history with 21 wins last season.
Fans can listen to the show live on the Florida Atlantic Sports Network, FOX Sports 640 South Florida. Fans are encouraged to attend and listen live on Thursday while enjoying Duffy's dinner and beverage specials.
