BOCA RATON, Fla. – A trio of Florida Atlantic softball seniors: pitcher
Autumn Courtney, third baseman
Jesiana Mora, and catcher
Chloe Yeatts, have made D1Softball's preseason player rankings for their respective positions.
For pitchers, Courtney is ranked No. 11 as the only member of the American on the list. She tallied an All-American season in 2025 and was the unanimous American Conference Pitcher of the Year. This follows her appearance at No. 35 in D1Softball's D100 overall player rankings.
Mora checks in as the No. 6 third baseman in the country following a year in which she won the American defensive player of the year and led the Owls offensively in hits (68) and tied for the lead in home runs (eight).
Yeatts is ranked as No. 10 among catchers. In her debut campaign with the Owls in 2025, she set the single-season program record in RBI (54) along with eight homers of her own and earned a spot on the American's all-conference first team.
Looking to win its third consecutive American Conference regular season title and make another appearance in the NCAA Regionals, the 2026 Florida Atlantic softball season begins on Thursday, Feb. 5, hosting the Paradise Classic at FAU Softball Stadium.
