BOCA RATON, Fla. – Two members of the Florida Atlantic football team, redshirt senior defensive tackle
Bryce Langston and redshirt junior offensive lineman
Daughtry Richardson, have been recognized on Bruce Feldman's Top 101 College Football Freaks List for their elite athleticism.
Feldman publishes the annual top 101 athletic "freaks" on The Athletic. FAU has had at least one player on the list for five consecutive seasons.
Langston was No. 36, with Feldman noting his "strong and explosive long arms" with a 6-7 wingspan. He has recorded a bench press of 425 pounds, power clean rep of 365 and vertical jump of 37 inches, in addition to running a 4.7 40-yard dash.
Richardson checks in at No. 78, with his 11-inch hands and 6-11 wingspan. At 6-5, 322 pounds, he has a recorded vertical jump of 35 inches and a 5.0 40. The right tackle, who started six games for the Owls in 2024, benched 405 pounds and recorded the same on a power clean.
Thanks to their unique athletic traits, the two are expected to have roles on new Hagerty Family Head Football Coach
Zach Kittley's team.
