CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Florida Atlantic football is set to participate in the 2025 American Conference Kickoff, which runs Thursday and Friday at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.
First-year Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley, along with redshirt junior quarterback Caden Veltkamp and redshirt senior defensive tackle Bryce Langston, will represent the Owls as they preview the 2025 season, their third as an American Conference member.
Fans of all 14 American teams will enjoy unprecedented access to press conferences, a behind-the-scenes look at the television coverage and meet-and-greet opportunities for some of the top coaches and players in the nation.
Media sessions begin at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday and will continue Friday morning with press conferences from the 14 head coaches. Commissioner Tim Pernetti will deliver his remarks Friday at 8:15 a.m. ET on ESPN+, with Coach Kittley's live press conference on ESPN+ set for 9:40 a.m. ET.
Here is a look at the Owls' schedule for fans visiting the 2025 American Kickoff. All events will be at the Charlotte Convention Center in the Richardson Ballroom.

EA Sports/Kickoff Central
Opportunities for teams to play EA Sports College Football 2026 and meet-and-greet opportunities with fans; photo opportunities will be available for fans at the ESPN+ television desk, while fans may also play catch on a makeshift football field.

Sit in as head coaches take questions from the media. Lucky fans may have the opportunity to ask questions as well.

Head coaches and student-athletes available at assigned tables for interviews with print and online media and one-on-one interviews with local television and radio. Fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at the ESPN+ television production with their favorite coaches and players.

The Charlotte Convention Center is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Public parking for the American Kickoff will be available at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Garage, accessible from East Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Television
ESPN+ will carry two feeds from The American Football Kickoff, beginning at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, July 24. Host Maria Trivelpiece will join analysts Rene Ingoglia and Leger Douzable as well as reporter Hannah Bradley for nearly six hours of live coverage, while a second feed will include the press conferences of Commissioner Tim Pernetti and the American's 14 head coaches.
