BOCA RATON, Fla. – After winning its second straight American Athletic Conference regular season title and ahead of the conference tournament, the No. 1 seed Florida Atlantic softball team received 13 postseason honors from the AAC, announced on Tuesday.
The Owls (44-9, 23-4) rolled through league play in their second year as a member of The American with the most conference wins in league history. They won eight of nine conference series, swept six opponents, and recorded seven run-rule victories and also went a perfect 12-0 on the road.
Eight different players for FAU earned weekly accolades from the conference as the program was represented in 12 out of 13 weeks in the regular season.
As a team, the Owls led the AAC in batting average (.340), runs (353), hits (484), doubles (91), RBI (317), stolen base percentage (.889), fielding percentage (.985), ERA (2.39), shutouts (10), strikeouts (301), and batting average allowed (.200).

For the second straight season, Florida Atlantic was named Coaching Staff of the Year. Third-year Head Coach
Jordan Clark, along with assistant coaches
Nicole Newman, Shelby Petik, and
Katelynn de Leon, kept the Owls in the national rankings throughout the 2025 campaign.
Junior pitcher
Autumn Courtney was unanimously voted the Pitcher of the Year and All-Conference First Team in her first season with Florida Atlantic after collecting a league-high four Pitcher of the Week awards and two honorable mentions. The Tappahannock, Virginia native has posted a 23-2 record, the fourth most wins in Division I, and owns a 1.89 ERA. Her 156 strikeouts lead the conference and are 35 more than second place. She has also held batters to a league-low .161 percentage.
Redshirt sophomore outfielder
Kylie Hammonds is also on the All-Conference First Team after taking on the leadoff hitter role. In 53 regular season games, she reached base safely in 49 of them and has done so in 22 straight. She leads the AAC in on-base percentage (.517) and is third in runs scored with 53. Hammonds earned an honorable mention, the first conference accolade of her collegiate career.
Junior catcher
Chloe Yeatts earned the All-Conference First Team honor in her first season as an Owl. She has totaled 51 RBI on the season, the most by an FAU player since 1995, in addition to seven home runs, and is third in the conference. Yeatts received two AAC honorable mentions over the course of the season.
Third baseman
Jesiana Mora was named Defensive Player of the Year and All-Conference Second Team. The junior has led the best defense in the nation, with the Owls ranked number one nationally in fielding percentage. Mora committed zero errors in conference play while recording 38 putouts and 37 assists. Offensively, she is currently on a hitting tear with a 13-game hitting streak and led the team with a .413 batting average, 38 hits, and six home runs in conference play. Mora owns the Owls' sole Player of the Week award from this season and earned two weekly honorable mentions.
Senior pitcher
Ainsley Lambert is a member of the All-Conference Second Team for the second straight season. As the nation's top closer, Lambert has tallied 11 saves to lead Division I and owns a conference-low 1.63 ERA, ranked 15th in the country. She earned one honorable mention earlier in the season.
During AAC play,
Bella Cimino has taken on the regular first baseman role and has made her mark with four home runs to earn the Owls another spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
Shortstop
Kiley Channell, the reigning AAC Freshman of the Year, has made the All-Conference Second Team in her sophomore campaign. Her 14 doubles rank second in the conference.
In her first collegiate season, outfielder
Bella Foran earns a spot on both the All-Conference second team and the All-Freshman team. The Hoover, Alabama native led the league with a .423 batting average and was the team's leader in hits for much of the season, currently second with 60. She has one weekly honorable mention to her name.
Destiny Johns rounds out the All-Freshman team after a strong season in the top of the Owls' lineup. She is tied for the team-lead in triples and has logged 41 RBI. During a five-game stretch, Johns drove in 18 runs to earn herself a weekly honorable mention from the conference.
The No. 1 seed Owls have secured a double bye in the AAC Tournament and will play in the championship semifinal on Friday, May 9 in Tampa, Florida. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. on ESPNU.
