Florida Atlantic men's golf continued to make huge strides in the 2024-25 campaign – the program's second under head coach Adrien Mork. The Owls set a single-season scoring average record of 288.00, narrowly edging out the 2021-22 squad that finished at 288.22. This season's group also made its mark on a national level, becoming just the third team in program history to finish the season ranked inside the Top 100 in Division I (No. 98).

On the individual level, Florida Atlantic had a representative at an NCAA Regional for the second consecutive year and the third time in program history. NaShawn Tyson earned his place at the Tallahassee Regional with a breakout sophomore season. Tyson won the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate, finished second at the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate, and recorded five other Top 25 finishes, including a tie for 21st at the AAC Championship. The sophomore finished with the third-best scoring average (71.71) and the second-most birdies (111) in a single season. He was also named to the AAC All-Conference Team.
NaShawn had a good season and it is the result of his dedication and hard work. He is committed to making our golf program better.Head coach Adrien Mork

The Owls earned their third team victory in two seasons under head coach Adrien Mork when they captured the title at the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate in April. Tyson led the charge with his runner-up finish while senior Guilherme Grinberg tied for fifth. Mork is already third all-time among FAU men's golf head coaches in team victories.
It is very rewarding to win at the DI level because there is a lot of tough competition. I am thankful for our players working hard to achieve our goals. We want to keep winning and continue the trend.Head coach Adrien Mork
The 2024-25 campaign was not without adversity. When Mork had a health emergency prior to the Owls' trip to Daytona Beach in March, assistant coach and former player Nico Cimadevilla stepped into the head coach role. A four-year team member from 2021-24, Cimadevilla guided the Owls to a third place finish at the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate.
Nico really stepped up and he did a great job. I had total confidence in him because we share the same love and passion for FAU.Head coach Adrien Mork
Not having Coach Mork in Daytona was quite an experience for all of us. We all tried our best to get the best out of each other, and that camaraderie helped us overcome the challenges from a very tough course and field. I truly believe the team grew closer that week and took on some good momentum for the rest of the spring.Assistant coach Nico Cimadevilla

Freshman Biagio Gagliardi won the ECU Ironwood Collegiate Classic in just his second start. The Italian posted rounds of 66 and 65 to finish at -13 in an event that was shortened to 36 holes due to weather. Gagliardi went on to post five other Top 20 finishes, including a tie for ninth at the AAC Championship
Biagio is a top player and we are lucky to have him at FAU. He is a great competitor with a lot of experience at the international level. He had some good results in his freshman year, and he has a bright future ahead of him.Head coach Adrien Mork

Florida Atlantic men's golf finished in the top five in five of its 10 events in 2024-25. The Owls will lose three seniors to graduation, but expect key pieces, including Tyson and Gagliardi, to return and lead the way again in 2025-26.
