CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team closed out the final day of the 2025 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, hosted by Charlotte, on Saturday evening.
Junior
Rosa ten Berg started the afternoon by placing third in the 800-meter run as the second Owl to place in the weekend. Next,
Andi VanMeter represented FAU in the 5000-meter run. To close out the 2025 AAC Outdoor Championships,
Richelle Williams,
Sofia Molina,
Jada Bolhuis, and ten Berg ran the 4x400-meter.
QUICK HITS
• ten Berg recorded a 2:07.45 to place third overall in the 800-meter. She moved herself in the record book to No. 2 with her new personal best.
• In the 4x400 meter relay the Owls registered a 3:45.18 for a season-best to close out the season.
• FAU had two qualify within the top three of the AAC (3000-meter steeplechase and 800-meter).
UPCOMING
The Owls will wait until the qualifications for the NCAA East Regional meet at the end of the month.
