Florida Atlantic Travels to Jacksonville for East Coast Relays

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team travels to participate in the East Coast Relays hosted by UNF on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3.

In their final meet of the regular season, the Owls will take part in five events (400-meter hurdles, 200-meter run, 1500-meter run, 3000-meter steeplechase, and 5000-meter run) on Friday evening. Scheduled for Saturday morning, Promise Cross will start things off for FAU with the high jump. The Owls will then compete in the 800-meter dash, 400-meter dash, and to close out the meet, they will race the 4x400-meter relay.

LAST TIME OUT

In the UCF Knights Invite, Cross finished with a 1.68m on the day in the high jump.
First to cross the finish line for the Owls in the 800m was Rosa ten Berg, who placed sixth overall with a time of 2:09.16.
Sofia Molina etched herself in the program's top ten with a 2:12.75 for a season-best as an Owl in the 800-meter run.
Jada Bolhuis (57.54) and Richelle Williams (57.55) finished within a second of each other in the 400-meter dash.
Bolhuis, Molina, ten Berg, Laura Kuhn, and Williams ran the 4x400-meter relay. They registered a 3:48.77, placing fifth overall.
