Adams, Svozilova Earn Fourth Consecutive CUSA Pair of the Week Honor

BOCA RATON, Fla. –Ashleigh Adams and Marketa Svozilova of the No. 13 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team continue to set league history as they earned their fourth consecutive Conference USA Pair of the Week award, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

They are the first four-time CUSA beach volleyball Pair of the Week. It also marks the sixth career weekly honor for Svozilova and fifth for Adams.

Adams and Svozilova had another solid week for the Sandy Owls, going 3-1 with wins against No. 3 TCU, No. 20 Georgia State, and UAB. Adams and Svozilova opened the week with a three-set win against UAB's top pair of Jasmine Haas and Olivia Stant, 17-21, 21-18, 15-10. The duo then earned another top 20 win, sweeping Georgia State's 1s pair, Ayla Johnson and Aree Keller, 21-19, 21-13. Adams and Svozilova finished the week with their second win of the season against No. 3 TCU's 1s, 20-22, 21-19, 15-9, defeating one of TCU's 2024 Paris Olympians in Daniela Alvarez, as well as Hallie Corinne Frist.
