Adams, Svozilova First Three-Peat CUSA Pair of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the first time in league history, Ashleigh Adams and Marketa Svozilova have been named back-to-back-to-back Conference USA Pair of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The historic honor marks the first time a CUSA beach volleyball pair three-peat as Pair of the Week. It also marks the fifth career weekly honor for Svozilova and the fourth for Adams.
Adams and Svozilova had another phenomenal week, improving their season record to an astounding 11-1 after going 3-1 during the TCU Invitational this weekend. The duo earned three ranked wins at the 1s, defeating No. 4 TCU, No. 7 Florida State, and No. 13 Texas. Adams and Svozilova opened the weekend with their ninth straight-set win, defeating No. 13 Texas' 1s pair of Chloe Charles and Liisa Kuivonen, 21-16, 21-14. They earned their 10th straight-set sweep of the season against No. 7 Florida State's top pair of Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig, winning 21-18, 21-16. Adams and Svozilova closed out the weekend with one of the most significant wins of their career, defeating No. 4 TCU's top pair and 2024 Paris Olympians, Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno, in three sets, 21-19, 21-23, 17-15.
