BOCA RATON, Fla.  – Florida Atlantic baseball begins a busy five-game week on Tuesday when it hosts Bucknell for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch at the FAU Baseball Stadium. The Owls and the Bison will then play game two at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The series will be streamed on

Both games will be Faculty & Staff Appreciation Days. FAU faculty and staff can show their Owl Card at the gate to take advantage of $5 tickets.

- The Owls took two of three from FIU over the weekend to improve to 12-3.
- In Friday's opener, Trey Beard struck out 11, but the Owls fell victim to a six-run FIU seventh inning.
- FAU bounced back on Saturday, rallying from 3-0 and 5-3 deficits to win 6-5.
- Jake Duer and Nick Romano came through with RBI hits in the seventh inning before MJ Bollinger secured a six-out save.
- On Sunday, the Owls out-hit FIU 13-5.
- Marshall Lipsey and John Schroeder homered, and Bollinger added his fifth save of the season.
- James Litman set new career highs in innings pitched (six) and total pitches (76) while tying his career high in strikeouts (five).

- Duer had two hits in each of the three games against FIU.
- He has 11 multi-hit games this season, including four four-hit games.
- Duer is third in Division I in total hits.
- Bollinger did not allow a hit in either appearance against FIU
- The sophomore is second in Division I with five saves.
- Lipsey homered on Friday and Sunday and now leads the Owls with four home runs on the season.

- Bucknell comes to town with a 6-6 record.
- The Bison dropped two of three to Maine over the weekend.
- Bucknell is a member of the Patriot League.
- After its series with the Owls, Bucknell will start a four-game series with FIU on Thursday night.
