GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's tennis played their first road match of the 2025 season and fell just shy of their first win, dropping the match 4-3 to UNC-Wilmington on Saturday evening.

The doubles duo of John Bernard /Mark Havlicek captured their court #1 doubles match, but the Owls gave up the point, falling in two of the three doubles contests.

Down 1-0, the Owls moved into singles play and were guided by the play of Havlicek, who captured court #2. Jan Kusy's winning ways continued on court #4, and Simon Myslivec scored the final point on court #6.
