Owls Sign Kenyon Garner

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football continues to add to its 2026 roster, year two under Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley. Ahead of the upcoming signing day for incoming freshmen, the Owls have announced the signing of EDGE Kenyon Garner, previously from Division II Livingstone College.
Garner brings pass rush to Paradise, finishing 2025 ranked No. 1 in DII in sacks per game while totaling 15 for the season and leading in tackles for loss with 28. At the end of the season, he was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Defensive Player of the Year and all-conference first team.
He has recorded single-game highs of 10 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, including four sacks. Garner also totaled three defensive touchdowns during the '25 campaign.
Returning south to Florida, the Okeechobee native played high school football at James S Rickards in Tallahassee.
Garner follows the signing of RB Leonard Farrow, who signed last Thursday, and he precedes this Wednesday's National Signing Day.
