Saturday's game is presented by Ideal Nutrition.
Beginning at 12:30 p.m. when Fan Zone opens outside Flagler Credit Union Stadium, FAU's Military Veterans Student Success Center (MVSSC) and FAU's ROTC will have a presence with military apparatus and activations.
Michael Carroll, an FAU student, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, staff sergeant and drill instructor, will lead the football team out of the tunnel, while Dr. Candy Wilson, Ph.D., a nurse practitioner, FAU professor and associate dean for nursing research and scholarship in the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, who is also a retired colonel in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps will serve as the honorary captain for the coin toss.
Also during the game, 13 ROTC cadets will be sworn in to service during a ceremony on the field.
In addition to veterans and military appreciation, the Owls will honor their recent varsity championship teams from Softball (American Conference regular season), Beach Volleyball (CUSA tournament), Women's Tennis (NCAA Tournament), Men's Soccer (American regular season), along with last year's individual conference champions in Swimming & Diving.
Three club national championship teams from Hockey, Women's Flag Football and Women's Soccer will also be recognized.
The football team hits the home stretch of its 2025 schedule, with three home games remaining in the final four weeks of the regular season. Following tomorrow's game versus Tulsa, FAU travels to Tulane next Saturday before hosting Connecticut and East Carolina in the final two weeks.
