BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football will play host to UConn this Saturday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. The game is scheduled to air on ESPN+ and on FoxSports 640 South Florida.
Leading the Owls on Saturday will be redshirt senior DL Naejaun Barber, who will be featured in Season 10, Episode 15 of the Inside the Owls' Burrow television show, which airs each week on FanDuel Sports Network Florida.
Barber, who hails from Hopkins, South Carolina, transferred to the Owls in the summer of 2025. following FAU's defensive coordinator Brett Dewhurst from Coastal Carolina. Prior to Coastal, Barber played two seasons at South Carolina State.
This season, he has taken advantage of every opportunity and has become a starter on the Owls' defensive line. He set a new FAU career high with six tackles a week ago and has totaled 31 on the season. He has bested his statistical line in nearly every category this season.
