Diarra and Rubidoux Named Student-Athletes of the Month

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Athletics has named its Prestige Windows & Doors Student-Athletes of the Month for September with Mamadou Diarra from men's soccer and Stella Rubidoux on the women's soccer team receiving the honors.
The monthly awards are presented to a male and female Florida Atlantic student-athlete to recognize their excellence in the classroom. FAU's athletic academic staff votes on the award. It is the first time this duo has received the honors.

He remains fully committed to his studies, consistently visiting the Student-Athlete Success Center multiple times each week. Stella took advantage of a special bridge program at FAU where she worked towards her Master's degree as an undergraduate.
