BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is in the books with five former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the sixth week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):
Active Owls (5) #91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
- Hendrickson had an active first half against the Green Bay Packers, recording two tackles in 26 snaps. He sat out the second half of the 27-18 loss due to injury. Bengals' Record: 2-4 Next Game: vs. Pittsburgh (and Pierre) – Thursday, 8:15 p.m. (Prime Video)
#84 Zaire Mitchell-Paden | TE | Baltimore Ravens
- Mitchell-Paden saw the field for nine snaps on offense in Baltimore's 17-3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He also added seven on special teams. Ravens' Record: 1-5 Next Game: Mitchell-Paden and the Ravens will have a bye week before returning in Week 8 to take host the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. on CBS.
#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
- In addition to a season high 16 snaps, Pierre entered the game against the Cleveland Browns 14 times on defense, coming up with big plays in the fourth quarter. He logged three total tackles, including a TFL, and made a key third down pass deflection to halt a driving Browns offense in the red zone and secure a 23-9 win. #26 Devin Singletary | RB | New York Giants
- "Motor" carried the ball three times and totaled 10 rushing yards. The Giants picked up a 34-17 victory over the division rival and defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on a primetime Thursday night showdown. Giants' Record: 2-4 Next Game: at Denver – Sunday, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)
#73 Brandon Walton | OT | Carolina Panthers
- Walton was elevated from the practice squad for the third time this season. In Carolina's 30-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys, he contributed six special teams snaps. Panthers' Record: 2-4 Next Game: at N.Y. Jets – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
On a Bye (2) #0 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | Houston Texans Texans' Record: 2-3 Next Game: at Seattle – Monday, 10 p.m. (ESPN)
#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Houston Texans
- On his bye weekend, Bryant made his return to Paradise as one of the FAU Athletics' 2025 Hall of Fame class inductees and was on hand to watch the Owls' 53-33 blowout victory over UAB. Texans' Record: 2-3 Next Game: at Seattle – Monday, 10 p.m. (ESPN)
