BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2024 Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs has concluded. Two players were on a participating team with one, Azeez Al-Shaair, seeing action. Here's a rundown of how he performed in the divisional round:

OWL IN THE DIVISIONAL (1)
#0 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | Houston Texans
- Al-Shaair's season came to a close in a 23-14 defeat against the two-time defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs. He led the team with six total tackles.

PRACTICE SQUAD (1)
#84 Zaire Mitchell-Paden | TE | Baltimore Ravens

In total, nine former Florida Atlantic Owls saw the field in an NFL game during the 2024 season, an increase from seven a year ago, with two more seeing time on a team's practice squad. In total, former FAU players appeared in 111 games and made 41 starts in 2024. This season also saw the first former Owl in program history named as a first team All-Pro, thanks to Trey Hendrickson's historic season with a league-leading 17.5 sacks.
