Owls Face Temple in Sunday Matinee

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer (2-3-2, 0-1 AAC) will square off with Temple (2-5-2, 0-1 AAC) on Sunday afternoon at home. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+. Admission is free at the FAU Soccer Stadium.

About the FAU Owls

The Owls were held to a scoreless draw against Jacksonville on Tuesday night.
FAU dominated possession and held the Dolphins without a shot on goal until the 78th minute.
The match featured 29 fouls and 10 yellow cards.
The Owls used a different starting 11 for the first time in five games – Jeremy Montero filled in for an injured Oliver Moller-Jensen.
Mamadou Diarra leads the Owls with three goals and four assists. Diarra had a first half hat trick against Stetson that is not yet official.

About the Temple Owls

Temple is 2-5-2, with wins coming against Villanova and Akron.
The Owls dropped their AAC opener against then-No. 19 Charlotte
Goal scoring has not come easy for the Owls – they have five tallies in their first nine games.
The Owls went 2-4-2 in conference play last season and missed the AAC tournament.

Series History

Florida Atlantic will be looking not only for its first win against Temple but also its first goal.
Temple has won each of the last two seasons by 1-0 and 3-0 finals.
