BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Athletics continued to achieve high Academic Progress Rate (APR) numbers in the 2022-23 academic year, as announced by the NCAA.
Three teams achieved a perfect score of 1,000: women's cross country, women's golf and volleyball. This marks the third consecutive academic year in which these three reached the maximum score.
Several additional teams received near-perfect scores and ranked among the top of the American Athletic Conference: baseball (992, second in the AAC), men's basketball (980, fourth), men's soccer (989, fourth), and women's soccer (993, fourth).
APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or academic term and provides a clear picture of the academic performance for each team in every sport. All teams must meet an academic threshold of 930 to qualify for the postseason and can face penalties for continued low academic performance.
