WICHITA, Kan. – Florida Atlantic's softball team will begin its postseason journey on Friday in the semifinal at 3:30 p.m. EST for their first game of the 2024 American Athletic Conference Tournament. The game will air on ESPN+.
The No. 1 seeded Owls earned a bye from the first two days of the tournament and will now take on the winner of Thursday afternoon's matchup between the No. 4 seed Wichita State and No. 5 Tulsa. Florida Atlantic has a combined 5-1 record between the two teams.
The Owls will enter postseason play with a 41-13 overall record, with a 21-6 record in conference play and the AAC Regular Season Championship to claim the No. 1 seed in the tournament.

- The Owls are ranked No. 40 in the RPI rankings
- As a team, Florida Atlantic leads the conference in runs scored (324), runs batted in (290), on-base percentage (.408), and walks (218)
- In conference play, third baseman Jesiana Mora leads the Owls with a .384 batting average
- Kamryn Jackson and Schlotterbeck lead the Owls with 46 RBI on the season
- Schlotterbeck was ranked No. 3 in Softball America in the Two-Way ranking for the month of May. She currently leads the Owls with a 16-5 record
- Junior Ainsley Lambert leads the pitching staff with a 1.85 ERA on the season
- Lambert is ranked No. 3 in the nation in saves (8)
- Rookie of the Year Kiley Channell is on a five-game hitting streak
- As a team, Florida Atlantic has registered 106 multi-hit games.
