SAN ANTONIO – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team wrapped up the first day of their first American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday.
For the Owls, the evening was highlighted by multiple personal record and movement in the program's top 10 record book.
- Promise Cross bested her 400m hurdle time, posting a mark of 1:00.99 for the seventh best time in program history
- Adriana Lopez recorded a new personal best time of 24.76 in the 200m
- Jordan Stevens was the top Owl finisher in the 1500m with a time of 4:48.32
Two days remain for the Owls, as they are set to compete in the 800m and 100m preliminaries as well as the 3000m steeplechase on Saturday.
Jessica Lambert will look to qualify for the finals in her quest to repeat as 800m champion while
Anabell Reumann seeks to continue her impressive season in the steeplechase. Live results can be found
