BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 25 Florida Atlantic softball team (28-7, 8-1 AAC) returns home after a five-game roadtrip. The three-game series will have a first pitch on Thursday, Mar. 28. and Friday, Mar. 29. The Saturday, Mar. 30 first pitch is set for 1 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.
After a back-to-back conference sweep, Florida Atlantic will face East Carolina, who is No. 6 in the AAC standings.
This meeting marks the sixth matchup between these two teams in program history. The first matchup dates back to Mar. 27, 1999, when the Owls won 3-2 in Atlanta, Ga., in a neutral site game. This matchup marks the first time these two teams face each other for a conference series. The last game against the Pirates resulted in a loss in Boca Raton on Mar. 8, 2019.
