DELAND, Fla. – The No. 25 Florida Atlantic softball team won on the road in a non-conference matchup against Stetson by a score of 3-2 to improve their winning streak to eight. Florida Atlantic improves to 28-7 on the season.

Trinity Schlotterbeck picked up her 13th win of the season after relieving
Gabby Sacco in the fourth inning.
Sacco started in the circle for Florida Atlantic tonight, facing 20 batters in four innings.
The Owls scored in the top of the second to get on the board early in the game and took the 2-0 lead. Catcher
Megan Moll doubled through the right side to score
Kamryn Jackson for the game's first run. Back-to-back hits came for Florida Atlantic as
Zoey Jones hit an RBI single to extend the lead.
The Hatters tied the game at two apiece in the fourth inning. The seventh inning came around with the score still at 2-2 until the Owls answered back, and Jackson hit an RBI double to center field to take that lead in the eighth inning.
Schlotterbeck faced 16 batters on the day and recorded four strikeouts on the night.
- Senior Zoey Jones went 2-for-4 on the night with an RBI
- Jones, Jackson, and Moll each registered an RBI
- The Owls totaled eight hits against Stetson
- Jackson leads the team and conference in hit by pitches
- For the second time this season, the Owls recorded 24 putouts
- Schlotterbeck improves her record to 13-2
The Owls return home to face East Carolina in a AAC matchup starting on Thursday evening. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
