CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's women's track & field team braved a weather delay to put on a spectacular performance at the UM Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.
The Owls put forth several personal bests and top 10 finishes in the action-packed day.
- Rosa Ten Berg improved her best time in the 800m for a fifth-place finish. Her mark of 2:12.16 is the fourth best in program history
- Adrianna Mier followed right behind in sixth place with a personal best time of 2:13.44, now 10th in school history
- Promise Cross had herself a day with two new entries to the all-time school record books. She recorded a time of 14.04 in the 100m hurdles, sixth best in FAU history, as well as 1:01.22 in the 400m hurdles, ninth best program time.
- Kayla Groppe recorded a sixth-place finish in the 1500m with a new PR (4:58.30)
The next meet scheduled for the Owls takes place in Tampa at the USF Invitational, set from Friday, Apr. 5 to Saturday, Apr. 6.
