BOCA RATON, FLA. – Select members of the Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming and diving teams will participate in the 2024 CSCAA National Inviational Championships, to be held in Ocala, Fla. from Thursday, Mar. 14 to Saturday, Mar. 16.

This marks the second straight season in which the Owls will take part in the NICs, a three-day meet that gives the Owls a chance to best their times.

LAST TIME OUT

Men

The men's team placed in third in their first ASUN Championship
Peyton Ming set the school record in the 100 back (47.90)
Timo Paisley, Valdemar Brons, Logan Thornsberry, and Jackson Kirk combined for a time of 6:32.17, earning the bronze medal and breaking the program record in the process

Women

Competing in the American Athletic Conference championships, the women's team finished in fifth place
Bry Bellile won the silver medal in the 200 free (1:48.19)
Riley Trout set a school record in the 100 back (54.24)
Dolores Margni broke the program record in the 100 fly (54.08) and earned the bronze in the 200 fly (1:58.82)
The 200 free relay team of Izzy Jones, Margni, Bellile, and Julia Earnshaw combined for a school record setting time of 1:32.30, winning the bronze medal
On the diving side, Alicia Mora competed in the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships, ultimately qualifying for the NCAAs in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives
