Owls Team Up with Lynn Cancer Institute for "No-Shave November"

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic baseball has a strict no-facial hair policy -- but that policy is suspended for one month a year. In November, players can grow out their beards and mustaches in exchange for a donation to the League of Ribbons at the Lynn Cancer Institute. The money is used to purchase gift cards to area restaurants and gas stations for cancer patients after a long day of treatments. This year, the Owls' efforts raised $1200 worth of gift cards for the League of Ribbons.
