Pittet to Compete in the 2024 SPAR European Cross Country Championships

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Freshman Constance Pittet of the Florida Atlantic women's cross country team will compete in the 30th SPAR European Cross Country Championships on Dec. 8 in Antalya, Turkey.
Pittet had a stellar freshman campaign, being named to the 2024 American Athletic Conference All-Conference team. She made multiple marks in the Florida Atlantic cross country record books in 2024. After nearly 14 years, Pittet set a new program record, now holding the best 5K time in school history with a time of 17:32.9. Another record was set at the 2024 AAC Championships as she made her mark in the 6K, now No. 2 in program history. In three consecutive races, Pittet crossed the finish line first for the Owls.
