BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's basketball closes out its two-game road stretch on Saturday, Nov. 23 as the Owls head south to take on south Florida rival FIU for a 1 p.m. tip inside the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
- The Florida Atlantic Owls enter Saturday's matchup at 3-2 overall. The Owls have won three of their last four contests after earning wins over Mercer, 58-48, North Florida, 50-41, and Bethune-Cookman, 78-49, but falling 75-63 in their last contest at Stetson.
- As a team, the Owls lead the AAC in field goal percentage defense (.356), 3-point percentage defense (.229), and bench points per game (24.6), while also ranking second in fouls per game (16.0), rebounds per game (43.0), and scoring defense (59), third in defensive rebounds per game (27.8), fourth in 3-point attempts per game (21.8) and 3-pointers per game (6.8), and fifth in free throw attempts per game (20.8) and offensive rebounds per game (15.2).
- The Owls are led offensively by Erin Rodgers and Mya Perry, averaging 12.2 and 11.2 points per game, respectively.
- Perry leads the Owls in steals this season, collecting 1.6 steals per contest.
- The Owls' assists leaders are Jada Moore and Stefanie Ingram, dishing out 3.2 assists per game.
- On the glass, the Owls are paced Ta'Ziah Jenks, grabbing 6.4 rebounds per game, while Erin Rodgers and Jada Moore tie for second on the team, averaging 5.4 rebounds per game.
- FIU enters this weekend's matchup at 1-3 overall and are on a three-game skid after dropping contests against Abilene Christian, 76-73, Jacksonville, 72-54, and Miami, 79-51.
- FIU is led offensively by Parris Atkins, tallying 58 points, averaging 14.5 points per game and Bineta Diatta, recording 42 points, averaging 10.5 points per game. Mya Kone leads the Panthers in points per game this season, averaging 21 points per game in her one game of action.

- Fourth-quarter struggles plagued the Owls in their 75-63 loss at Stetson on Tuesday.

- The Owls outscored the Hatters in the first quarter, 14-12, and third quarter, 15-11.
