BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer (6-5-3, 2-3-1 AAC) will celebrate its seniors and hope to clinch a place in the AAC Tournament against Charlotte (8-1-5, 3-1-2 AAC) on Saturday night. The Owls need a win or a draw to secure a postseason berth. Kick off is scheduled for 7 p.m. The match will be streamed for free on

- Before the match, seven seniors will be recognized: Mamadou Diarra, Noah Kvifte, Jeremy Montero, Nacho Alfaro, Zach Hassell, Joep Wouters, and Arthur Widiez.
- A win on Saturday would not only secure a spot in the AAC Tournament – it would mean the Owls host FIU next Friday night.
- With a draw on Saturday, the Owls would be the six-seed and travel to USF next Friday.
- As a team, the Owls lead the American in goals, goals per game, and assists
- They are second in shots and fewest goals allowed
- Mamadou Diarra leads the AAC in goals, game-winners, and points
- Noah Kvifte leads in shots on goal and is second in goals behind Diarra
- Aboubacar Traore leads in assists followed by Sebastian Zettl, Diarra, and Arthur Widiez in second through fourth.
- 15 of the Owls' 25 goals have been scored in the 60th minute or later
- Charlotte needs at least a draw to secure the two-seed and first round bye in the AAC Tournament.
- The 49ers have been the best defensive team in the AAC this season – they have not conceded a goal in the last three matches.
- Florida Atlantic and Charlotte met in last season's AAC Semifinals where the 49ers came away with a 3-1 win. When the teams faced off in Charlotte in September, CLT won 3-0. The Owls' last win over Charlotte was in 2003. Since then, CLT has won 11 of 13 with two draws mixed in.
