Faxius Named Diver of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's swimming and diving teams have earned their first weekly award of the 2024-25 season. Freshman Isac Faxius has been named the ASUN Diver of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

Competing at the TYR Fall Classic hosted by Florida International on Friday and Saturday, Faxius tallied a first-place finish in the 3m diving totaling a final score of 325.30.

This performance by Faxius was instrumental in helping the Owls finish second in the meet overall. The score of 325.30 helped Faxius cracked the Florida Atlantic all-time top 10 for the men's 3m diving, now placing him 10th all time.

The Owls will travel to Fort Lauderdale on Friday for a showdown against Nova Southeastern and Barry, with action beginning at 2 p.m. Live results can be found on the Meet Mobile app.
