PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf will host the Florida Atlantic Invitational presented by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission beginning Monday at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens. 36 holes are scheduled for Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. followed immediately by the second round in the afternoon. Tuesday's final round will also begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The event will conclude the fall season for the Owls.

PGA National is the annual home to the PGA Tour's Cognizant Classic which includes past champions Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, and Rory McIlroy. This week it will play as a par 71 at 7,054 yards. The signature stretch known as "The Bear Trap" starts at the par three 15th hole followed by the long par four 16th and concludes at the treacherous par three 17th.

The field consists of 12 teams and 76 individuals. There is strong AAC presence this week with UAB, USF, and Temple all in the field.
