ESTERO, Fla. – After a team victory in its last event two weeks ago, Florida Atlantic men's golf returns to action on Monday at the West Bay Collegiate Invitational hosted by Florida Gulf Coast. The two-day 54-hole event begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday and concludes with the final round on Tuesday.
The Lineup
- NaShawn Tyson – Tyson finished runner-up last time out at the Florida Atlantic Invitational. He leads the team with 36 birdies and is 12 away from passing Alex Maguire (336 career) for second in program history.
- Preston Worch – Worch tied for eighth in his last start. He is second on the team in scoring average (71.16) behind Tyson.
- Christian Veilleux – Veilleux recorded a T15 two weeks ago in Jupiter for the best individual finish of his career.
- Tristan Rhodenizer – Rhodenizer tied for 20th last time out after three straight rounds of par or better.
- Ian Soderholm – Soderholm posted two rounds of par or better in the last event on the way to a tie for 36th.
- Conor Whalen (Individual) – Whalen will compete as an individual this week. He tied for 56th in his first collegiate start two weeks ago.
The Course
West Bay Country Club will play as a par 72 at 6.939 yards.
The Field
15 teams and 83 individuals will compete.
