HOUSTON, Texas and GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's tennis' newcomer duo of Lucca Miremont / Segundo Goity Zapio captured three doubles matches to advance to the 2024 Bedford Cup Semifinal, but their storied tournament came to an end with an 8-6 loss to a Stetson duo.
The way the draw worked out also saw two Owls eliminate their teammates to advance in the tournament. Both matches were pushed to the limit, showing the team's depth.
