PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The Florida Atlantic women's golf team begins its 2023 fall campaign on Sunday at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawley's Island, S.C. The three-day, 54-hole event will conclude on Tuesday. It will serve as the first of four fall events on the Owls' schedule.

The Lineup
With nine six newcomers on this year's roster, head coach Heather Young will get an early look at some of the Owls' depth. Charlotte Perkins (a freshman from Australia) and Amanda Linner (a graduate transfer from Arizona State) will join returners Clemence Cadeac, Blanka Decker, and Olivia Bergner to form the first starting five of the season. Caledonia Golf and Fish Club is one of the top courses in the Myrtle Beach area. It was recently ranked 85th on Golf Digest's Top 100 Public Courses ranking. This week, it will play as a par 71 at 5,981 yards.
The Field
The field includes 18 teams and 101 individuals. UAB and East Carolina join FAU as other American Athletic Conference teams participating.
