BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's soccer begins a challenging two-game home week when Florida Gulf Coast comes to town on Thursday night. The Owls are 7-1-4 at the FAU Soccer Stadium dating back to last season.

Malaya Melancon's 38th minute strike held up as the equalizer for just 50 seconds as UCF reclaimed the lead in the following minute
Blythe Braun finished with three saves in goal
The Owls have home wins over Texas A&M – CC and Louisiana so far this season
On Monday, sophomore midfielder Michelle Horan was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll
Horan netted the first goal of her career in the first half last Thursday against Louisiana which held up as the game-winner in the 2-1 victory

FGCU is 2-2-1 and coming off a 3-0 defeat at Appalachian State on Sunday
