Baker Records His 100th Win at Fla. Atlantic

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Owls recorded their first win in American Athletic Conference in program history after a two-and-a-half-hour weather delay. Head coach Patrick Baker claimed his 100th win at Fla. Atlantic.
The first home conference game of the season resulted in a shutout. The Owls shutout Temple 2-0 to record their first win in the AAC. Midfielder Morgan McDonald scored the first goal in the 21st minute assisted by Malaya Melancon to take the lead. Tonight's goal marked the first one on the season for McDonald. At the half, Fla. Atlantic led with one goal and eight shots. With approximately 12 minutes remaining in the second half, Molly Setsma scored her first goal of the season assisted by Michelle Horan and Drew Dempsey to extend the lead two nil.
Head coach Patrick Baker improved his record at Fla. Atlantic to 100-78-28 with an overall record of 345-240-58.
The Owls played great defense and held Temple to only five shots on the night with two shots on goal.
