Sandy Owls close regular season road slate Wednesday at FGCU

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team (13-11, 1-0 C-USA) heads to Fort Myers, Florida this week for a pair of midweek duals against Florida Gulf Coast (12-14, 4-4 ASUN) to close out the Sandy Owls regular season road slate.
Wednesday's doubleheader will mark Florida Atlantic's fourth and fifth matchups against the FGCU Eagles this season.
The Sandy Owls will kick off the day with their first of two at 1 p.m. against FGCU. Florida Atlantic will then rematch the Eagles for a 3 p.m. first serve to close out the day. FAU leads the all-time series against FGCU, 13-3, including two 4-1 victories and a 3-2 win this season.
The Sandy Owls will return to Boca Raton this weekend as they close out the regular season with the Battle of the Beach Burrow and Senior Day on Saturday, April 15.
