MIAMI – Florida Atlantic men's soccer will play its first AAC postseason match in program history on Sunday night. It will happen close to home in Miami when the six-seeded Owls take on the three-seed FIU at 7 p.m.

- The Owls finished the regular season 5-7-3 overall and 3-5 in league play.
- Noah Kvifte and Victor Claudel are tied for the team lead with six goals each.
- Goalkeeper Rotem Fadida leads the AAC in saves and saves per game.
- Fadida set a new season high with nine saves last time out against USF.
- The Owls have one previous conference tournament title. That came in 2007 as part of the Atlantic Conference.
- The last time FAU qualified for the postseason they reached the C-USA Championship game in 2021.

- FIU is ranked No. 23 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
- Eduardo Mustre is second in the AAC with 11 goals. The junior scored the Panthers only goal two weeks ago against the Owls.
- FIU won the AAC regular season and tournament crowns in 2022. The Panthers defeated New Hampshire in the NCAA first round before falling 1-0 to Duke in the Sweet Sixteen.

- The Owls defeated the Panthers two weeks ago for the first time since 2013.
- These two sides have never met in the postseason.
- Charlotte awaits the winner in the semifinals. That match will be played Thursday at 4:30 EST in Dallas.
