2023 NFL Owls - Week 11 - Florida Atlantic University Athletics

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season is in the books with seven former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the 11th week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):

#2 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | Tennessee Titans
- Al-Shaair recorded five tackles in the Titans' 34-14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now up to 94 tackles on the season, he grew his team lead to 28 and is just eight away from his career high of 102.

#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Cleveland Browns
- 24 has become Bryant's lucky number. For the fourth straight game, he was on the field for 24 offensive snaps and added 14 on special teams. The Browns picked up a massive 13-10 win over the divisional rival Pittsburgh Steelers and former Owl James Pierre.
Browns' Record: 7-3

#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
- Just by stepping onto the field on Thursday night, Hendrickson proved himself as one of the toughest players in the league. Just four days after leaving the game with a hyperextended knee, Hendrickson was not only in the lineup but continued to look like his usual dominant self. On his second defensive drive, he made a four-yard tackle for loss and then a sack one play later. This puts him at 9.5 on the season, already surpassing his 2022 numbers in five less games, and puts him at eight out of 10 games on the year bringing down the opposing QB.

#1 Greg Joseph | K | Minnesota Vikings
- Playing in primetime on Sunday night, Joseph kicked for his seventh perfect game on the season, making both his field goals and both extra point attempts. The Vikings ultimately came up just short by a score of 21-20, snapping their five-game win streak.
Vikings' Record: 6-5

#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
- Pierre not only remained a special teams ace, tying his season high with 23 snaps, he added a season high 12 snaps on defense. The Steelers lost to the Browns off a last second field goal by a score of 13-10.
Steelers' Record: 6-4
Next Game: at Cincinnati (and Hendrickson) – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

- For the second game in a row, "Motor" could not be brought down.

The reigning AFC Offensive Player of the Week added 112 yards on 22 carries and scored his second touchdown of the season, which gave Houston their first lead of the game that they would never relinquish in the 21-16 victory. It was solid run after solid run for Singletary, who is now leading Houston in rushing yards and ranks 28th in the league.

#73 Brandon Walton | OT | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Walton saw the field twice on the offensive field goal unit in Tampa Bay's 27-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Buccaneers' Record: 4-6
