GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's men's and women's cross country teams put a close to the 2023 fall season in the NCAA South Regionals on Friday morning.Â

The Owls put forth a strong effort in their final meet of the XC season, with the men competing in a 10K race and the women running the 6K.Â

The top five finishers for the women's team all set personal bests and improved upon their times from the AAC Championships, while the men saw the second best 10K time recorded in FAU history

Women
- Jordan Stevens again set a new personal best, improving her time by almost a minute, to the lead the way for the Owls (21:31.3)
- Jessica Hatch was just ticks behind Stevens with a time of 21:36.3
- Leah Helms set a new personal best time of 21:32.8
- Elyssa Toal finished with a time of 21:35.5
- Paige Saiz rounded out the Owls scoring with a time of 21:50.8
Men
- Paul Glick's time of 33:05.0 is the second best running the 10K in FAU historyÂ
- Luke Gaudet (35:07.1) and Leonardi Lamour (35:14.7) finished consecutively
- Sam Henery finished the Owls season with a time of 35:27
Up next for the Owls is indoor track season, set to kick off on Friday, Jan. 12.
