BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to hit the road for the yearly TYR Fall Classic, an annual dual meet hosted by FIU that includes several teams.

Friday's action will begin at 4 p.m. EST, with Saturday's events beginning at 11 a.m.

The Owls proved they were able to take on any challenge in their most recent meet. A planned competition at Nova on Friday, Sep. 29 turned into an early morning home race on Sat. Sep, 30, with FAU not letting the last minute change get to them.
Â
Men
- The men's team took down the Sharks 145-117
- Peyton Ming continued to impress with victories in the 100 back (50.92) and 100 fly (49.51) as well as a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:30.51) along with Jackson Kirk, Dalton Lillibridge, and Jacob Rubin
- Kirk also tallied a victory in the 100 free (45.33)
- Rubin took an additional victory in the 50 free (20.85) and was a member of the winning 400 free relay (3:03.6) with Max Ahumada, Kirk, and Logan ThornsberryÂ
- Timo Paisley captured the win in the 200 free (1:40.58)
- Freshman Francesco Fiore won the 200 fly (1:51.40)
Women
- Freshman Izzy Jones was a part of four victories: the 50 free (23.88), 100 free (52.97) and a member of the 200 medley relay team along with Amelia Robertson, Bilu Bianchi, and Dolores Margni (1:46.35) as well as the 400 free relay (3:32.12) with Julia Earnshaw, Margni, and Maggie Casey
- Bianchi also won the 100 breast (1:05.24)
- Riley Trout won both the 100 back (56.94) and 200 back (2:03.24)
- Nula Gow tallied the victory in the 200 breast (2:20.92)

Following the conclusion of the TYR Fall Classic, the Owls will participate in another dual meet, this time against Florida Gulf Coast and Bellarmine, hosted by FGCU on Friday, Oct. 13.
