2023 NFL Owls - Week 7

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season is in the books with three former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the seventh week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):
Active Owls (3)
#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Cleveland Browns
- Bryant recorded the start, his third of the season, and saw 17 total snaps on offense. He also played a season high 19 snaps on special teams as the Browns eked out a 39-38 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Browns' Record: 4-2

#1 Greg Joseph | K | Minnesota Vikings
- Joseph's booming leg came through yet again. For the second game in a row, he knocked in a field goal from 50+, this time a key 54-yarder to put the Vikings up by eight late in the third quarter during a tight Monday night battle with the San Francisco 49ers. He added two more field goals and three extra points, accounting 50% of Minnesota's points in a primetime 22-17 victory.
Vikings' Record: 3-4

#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
- For the first time during the 2023 season, Pierre saw snaps on the defensive snap of the ball in the team's 24-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Of course, he remained a fixture on special teams with 18 snaps and had a downed key punt on the Rams' own 6-yard line.
Steelers' Record: 4-2
