Owls to College State for ITA Kick-Off

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team will participate in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the site hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas this Saturday and Sunday.

FAU, who comes into the match with a 2-2 record, will open versus host Texas A&M at 3 p.m. A&M is 3-0 and ranked No. 5 nationally. Florida is 1-0 on the year and Arizona will enter at 3-0.

Millie-Mae Matthews leads the Owls with a 4-0 dual match record and is 1-2 in dual doubles play. Martina Kudelova, the program's all-time career dual matches played leader, comes into the tournament with a 3-1 singles record and holds a 1-3 doubles record.

The Owls will next travel to Tucson, Arizona where they will face Northern Arizona on Friday, Feb. 3 in a morning match and then Arizona in an afternoon match before playing Fresno State on Saturday, Feb. 4.
